Deleting your account

1. In the app

Open Settings, find the Account group, and tap Delete account. The app asks once more — "This permanently deletes your account, photos and remaining credits. This cannot be undone." — and confirming it starts the erasure immediately.

There is no cooling-off period and no reactivation. We do not hold the account in a disabled state for thirty days hoping you come back.

2. By email, without the app

Write to support@totshot.app from the address the account uses and ask us to delete it. We do it for you, and we answer to confirm it is done rather than leaving you to guess.

If you sign in with Apple and Apple gave you a private relay address, write from that relay — it is the address we have, and it is how we know the request is yours.

3. What is erased

All of it, across every service that held any part of it:

• Your photographs, the frames they were cut from, and every preview and render made along the way.
• Every measurement taken from those frames — head height, eye line, crown margin, the verdicts and the requirement versions they were judged against.
• Your child's name, nickname and date of birth.
• Your account: the email address or store identifier, your language, your sessions and your push tokens.
• Your receipts — which document, when, whether it passed, which credit was spent.
• Your credit balance.

Nothing is kept as a marker that you were here. A part of the cascade that fails is retried until it confirms, rather than quietly left behind.

4. What we cannot reach

The store's own record of the purchase. You bought credits from Apple or Google, not from us, and their transaction history is theirs — we can delete our copy of the receipt and we do, but we cannot delete a purchase from your App Store or Google Play account. Those stores publish their own instructions for that.

Unused credits are destroyed with the account and are not refundable. If you have credits left, spend them first or write to us before you delete — afterwards there is nothing left to restore them to.

A copy of a photo you exported, saved to your phone or sent to somebody is yours and outside our reach by definition. Deleting the account does not travel to it.

5. If you only want one photo gone

You do not have to delete the account for that. Any single photo can be deleted in the app at any time, and its measurements go with it. What survives deleting a single photo is the receipt, because you may still need to query a charge — that receipt is shown nowhere in the app, and it does not survive deleting the account.

You can also just wait. Nothing here is kept forever by default: an upload that never became a session goes in 24 hours, the sources and previews of a session in 72, and a photo you bought goes at the end of your retention window — 7, 30, 90 or 365 days, or never, and 365 unless you changed it.
